Sushrut Shah (he/him) is currently a PhD student at Thomas Jefferson University. Some of his past projects in research included studying novel compounds to find better therapeutic drugs to treat pulmonary diseases like asthma and COPD. He is currently focused on identifying new potential drugs for β-adrenergic receptor related diseases. He will stress the importance of finding new therapeutics for these diseases as they affect millions of people worldwide. He's a foodie who loves trying different restaurants and cuisines. He also likes camping and visiting various National Parks during his free time.
