SiNae Pitts, PhD is a published neuroscientist (Columbia University, PhD) turned tech entrepreneur who bootstrapped a mobile app company soon after the Apple App store opened up in 2008. As a sole founder with an international team, AMMO (Amphetamobile, LLC) created top grossing medical apps, a series of World Bank iPad Apps, and awarded Philly 100 fastest growing company status in 2015. The company continues to design, develop and license their "Gutenberg Press" of mobile publishing B2B as well as working on Enterprise projects. SiNae believes smart technology and user-centered design can be forces for good.
She realized her best opportunity to grow is to launch a brand new, highly scalable company, AMMO Energy, this time with a co-founder, in new product R&D and lab work documentation and analysis, which was an early start up idea that initially got her into software development for scientists and knowledge workers.
SiNae is most interested in helping mission critical personnel advance their important work in the field and on the go, with simple tools for complex workflows. This new venture, AMMO Energy, will create more environmentally friendly, lighter-weight batteries that can power all the new technologies, devices, and apps we increasingly depend on. As a child in a military family and as an adult, SiNae has traveled the world and has a passion for learning from, supporting, educating, and inspiring other entrepreneurs and creatives.
