Sean McIntosh has a bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Delaware. He has 15+ years of engineering employment designing a wide range of systems from electricity generating backpacks, to hydrogen generators, and even working on the latest US Navy Ship the DDG-1000 Zumwalt Class Destroyer. While working for a number of start up companies he has written successful grant applications that have been awarded over $10+ million in SBIR funds, helping bring ideas from proof of concept into mass production. His specialty has been in power and energy systems which have a global impact on the environment and all aspects of technology. He is looking forward to this being his first endeavor where he will be cofounding a company and can have more control to set the course for the direction of his inventions and inspire his two children into STEAM research.
