Sam is the founder & CEO of STRETTO, a 20 veteran of the U.S. Army a professional musician, and UX designer.
During COVID, Sam founded STRETTO, after seeing a massive market opportunity to supercharge interaction between audiences and performers during livestreams. In 2021, STRETTO was named to the Fast Company list of World Changing Ideas. STRETTO is a Twitch extension that allows audiences to work together to call up media in real time during a live stream, and will soon branch into new markets.
Sam is an Associate Director of User Experience at RAPP, a global precision marketing agency. Sam also teaches human centered design and business innovation to graduate students in the School of Design Strategies at the Parsons School of Design.
Prior to his career as a designer, Sam was a musician in the Army's elite West Point Band, where he performed for audiences all over the world. He also led the band's marketing and communications team where he changed the way all Army bands are marketed to the public by investing heavily in livestreaming, social media, and other modern, digital tools.
Aside from his professional life, Sam is a passionate home cook, and runs a food blog with his daughter (thedinnerwinner.com). Sam lives in Ridgewood, NJ, with his wife and three children.
