Malcolm Ethridge is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP ® ), speaker, blogger, and self-proclaimed personal finance nerd. His areas of expertise include retirement planning, investment portfolio
development, tax planning, insurance, stock options and other executive benefits. He leverages that expertise to help senior managers and small business owners in tech make sense of some
of the most complex financial situations that working professionals tend to face. Malcolm is also the host of the Tech Money Podcast; the show where all things technology and personal finance collide.
In addition to his duties as a financial advisor, Malcolm is very active in several community service organizations as both a board member and/or mentor. He is very passionate about the case for financial literacy, and the transformative effects it can have on young people. He has conducted several workshops and seminars, given keynotes, participated in panel discussions, and weighed in on the formation of programming designed to help give high school and college students a strong financial foundation.
As a very proud Aggie Alum, Malcolm holds a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University, where he studied marketing and management. Malcolm is a native Washingtonian, where he lives with his wife and daughter. And in his free time, he enjoys skiing, flag football, and reading.
