Associate Dean for Student & Postdoctoral Affairs
Lisa Kozlowski, Ph.D., is Associate Dean for Student and Postdoctoral Affairs at Thomas Jefferson University (TJU). She is an immunologist by trade with a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and postdoctoral training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She then found her true passion of helping others, especially science trainees, to find the best fit for their future careers. This passion blossomed at Science's Next Wave and has continued over the past 19 years in the Jefferson College of Life Sciences at TJU. During this time, she founded and has directed the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and has continued her passion for providing career guidance and mentoring to students and postdocs, while also playing a role in graduate student affairs, recruitment, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her professional association involvement includes the Association for Women in Science, Philadelphia chapter, National Postdoctoral Association, Graduate Career Consortium, and the AAMC’s Graduate Research Education And Training (GREAT) Group.
