As a University City Science Center STEM Founders Fellow, Ian is building a company to help researchers in the life sciences extract over 100X the biological information out of each experiment.
Ian recently completed a PhD in Bioengineering, wherein he developed molecular tools to enable deeper microscopy-based profiling of biological samples. His work has applications in basic research, drug development, and diagnostics. Ian's previous experience includes engineering of drug delivery devices, fluidic system design, and life science consulting. He has a Masters in Bioscience Enterprise and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
