Dennis Miller enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1996. Dennis served his country as an infantryman, marksmanship instructor and small unit leader before medically retiring in 2009. He earned an undergraduate degree from Lincoln University, served as the Wounded Warrior Fellow in the 13th congressional district of PA and established Wheel Dog Industries, LLC (WDI) on November 10, 2017.
WDI is an organizational management / design consultancy, specializing in Veteran and military affairs. WDI provides advisory services to local, state and federal agencies as well as private businesses and non-profit organizations that seek to develop programming oriented toward the Veteran and military community. WDI has been designated as a verified vendor by the Defense Logistics Agency and as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Dennis serves as President and Founder of the Greater Philadelphia Area Veteran Chamber of Commerce, an organization built to promote the economic capacity of the Veteran community in and around Philadelphia. He is also a Congressional / Intergovernmental Liaison with the Department of Justice in the Office of Justice Programs.
Dennis sits on the Veteran Advisory Panel of the 4th congressional district as well as the Board of Trustees of Ft. Mifflin on the Delaware, serving as Vice Chair. He also serves as a Senior Advisor for Bunker Labs (Philadelphia) and is a Travis Manion Foundation Spartan. In 2021, Dennis attended the Veteran Leadership Program at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Dennis shows his dedication to the military affiliated community through his work as an advocate, mentor and ambassador for Veteran and military issues in the civilian sector.
