Who is your lawyer?

If you can’t answer this question, then let’s be honest – your lawyer is probably Google. In other words, when you have a legal question you don’t call Rachel Zane, Jack McCoy or Top Dog law. You turn to Google.

And you’re not alone. Research suggests that people are more likely to turn to the internet for legal information and advice than actual lawyers. Which begs the question – why? Why would people rather turn to Google for help, than a legal professional? What makes Google the world’s favorite lawyer?

In this interactive design jam led by legal innovator Zane Johnson, we’ll share our experiences with lawyers and legal issues, and try to pinpoint why people shy away from lawyers. Then, we’ll turn our attention towards designing the perfect law firm, in an effort to figure out how lawyers can better serve the entrepreneurial community.
