(Link will go live on 05/06/2021)

STUDENTS, PARENTS, EDUCATORS and EDUPRENEURS! On Thursday May 6, 2021, we invite you to join author Susanne Tedrick as we kick off a ten chapter read along of “Women of Color In Tech: A Blueprint for Inspiring and Mentoring the Next Generation of Technology Innovators”. This ten chapter virtual read-along is designed to help you understand some of the barriers to talent entry and retention in the tech industry. At our opening and closing sessions readers are invited to join author Susanne Tedrick in discussion around how they can support learning in and outside of the classroom. Educators are invited to view videos to preview each of the ten chapters! Educators can register with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit to receive (8) ACT 48 credits for participating in all parts of this read-along! (Opening session, all ten chapters, and the closing session). The first 20 participants will receive a personal electronic copy of the book and a PDF formatted reading guide.
