ABOUT THE SESSION

(Link will go live on 04/22/2021)

Women Owned Businesses. Minority Owned Businesses. Certified Benefit Corporations. There are lots of business certifications -- why do businesses (pay to) obtain them? What is the benefit they provide? Is it something you should consider? Come and hear about the who, what, where, when, why, and how of small business certifications from Drexel University's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. Madelynn Correnti is a third year law student at Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law concentrating in intellectual property and business organizations. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware and holds a B.A. in Political Science. Eamon Gallagher provides support to help entrepreneurs avoid reinventing the wheel as they deliver their first product, obtain first revenues, grow teams, and raise capital. Alessandra Mullin is a former ballerina and real estate agent that currently serves as a member of the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. She is scheduled to graduate with her J.D. from Drexel University this spring.
