In 2019 the City of Philadelphia announced that a record 46 million people visited the five-county Greater Philadelphia region, marking the 10th consecutive year of growth. With a record setting $7.64 billion in direct visitor spending, and 105,460 jobs across various industries, how will we rebuild?
This session is an opportunity to think about how our historical visitor economy can reflect a more inclusive history. Join us as we welcome Interpretive historian Joe Becton and the men of the US Colored Troops USCT as they share living history, through story and artifacts.
