Join us for LGBTQIA Entrepreneurs Night, a collaboration with the Philadelphia Commission of LGBT Affairs. This evening celebrates the vibrant queer entrepreneurial community in Philadelphia.

Discover a diverse range of LGBTQIA-owned businesses, connect with entrepreneurs, and explore innovative products and services. This interactive marketplace-style event fosters inclusivity, networking, and empowerment. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem and support LGBTQIA entrepreneurs in Philadelphia.

The mission of Sickwise is to offer All Around Artistry services to the day to day working class professional, the hip and trendy public, and film & entertainment industry. Sickwise houses 3 other entities through our mission, assisting the the Arts community and single parent families through “THE U-CITY ART WALK” THE U-CITY ARTS FOUNDATION” & “KIDZ FIRST PROJECT” two non-profits, and an event platform geared towards uplifting and assisting the community and children. Sickwise’s experience and creative work has led to recognition and work all over the tristate area, as well as the West Coast for his contribution to Styling Assisting for BET Networks and VIACOM. Sickwise’s community work as well as Fashion work has also been seen on many productions, and TV programming such as 6ABC Action News, MTV, PBS, VH1 and in publications such as JET and The Philadelphia Daily News.

Sickwise houses many services in the arts as well including Wardrobe Styling Consulting/Closet Coordination, Costuming/Custom Design, Makeup & Grooming (SPFX Film, TV) and Creative Assisting branding. Sickwise’s work ethic and background is based upon experienced skill, passionate quality and true style.

Sickwise’s objective are to:

  • Assist the Arts Community and Small Creative Business Community
  • Utilize skills as services in Fashion, Beauty, Styling, Design, and Branding
  • Obtain and service clients with a knowledgeable range of services offering Wardrobe Styling Consulting/Closet Coordination, Costuming/Custom Design, Makeup & Grooming (SPFX Makeup for Film, TV etc.) and Creative Assisting branding services.
  • Expand networks and obtain partners and partnerships with boutiques, brands, manufacturers and designers
  • Build a large franchise with sustaining capital for delivering unique, quality efficient, and reputable services through our work

 

The IBA provides opportunities, access and resources to LGBTQ+ professionals and allies in the Greater Philadelphia area. We promote economic development, growth, diversity and leadership in our region.

The mission of the Independence Business Alliance is to promote Greater Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ business and leadership communities to:

  • Enhance financial opportunities;
  • Foster diversity;
  • Develop leadership and collaboration; and,
  • Advocate for positive change.

The Independence Business Alliance (IBA) is the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer (LGBTQ+) Chamber of Commerce for the Greater Philadelphia region. The IBA serves the LGBTQ+ and business communities of:

  • Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania;
  • Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties in New Jersey;
  • and, New Castle County in Delaware.

The Independence Business Alliance is a membership-based business advocacy organization dedicated to making the Philadelphia region an influential and diverse LGBTQ+ business community with an impact on economic development, equal rights and policy issues. The IBA is an official affiliate of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).

The Eidos LGBTQ+ Health Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania cultivates and engages emerging and experienced leaders from community, academic, civic and business spheres to create innovative solutions for the LGBTQ+ community. We use social enterprise, community engagement, education, and research to further the sustained well-being of the LGBTQ+ community.
