ABOUT THE SESSION

(Link will go live on 06/24/21)

From future technologies to world history, this session is for the education focused entrepreneur. Join us as we welcome Dr. Virginia Miori and Dr. Jeremy Williams to the Edupreneur Roundtable. During this summer session we will discuss use cases for technologies like Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and systems design, while exploring the Critical Race Theory debate in K12 education.

Virginia Miori, Ph.D. is a Full Professor and Chair of the Decision and System Sciences Department in the Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She is a graduate of the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University, holding a doctoral degree in Operations Research.

Jeremy Williams, Ph.D. is an Executive Principal and CEO for GEMS Education, the largest educational conglomerate in the world. Jeremy is passionate about transformational leadership, educational innovation, and revamping US curriculum to provide students with necessary skills, and teaching students and adults about Blockchain and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT’s). He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, holding a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership.

The Edupreneur Roundtable, assembles interested parties to analyze an identified problem while applying intentional, responsive, and active listening, to build trust across various education stakeholder groups. This method works against blanketed “Group Think”, by following a process that:

1) Performs Root Cause Analysis
2) Develops Collaborative Solutions

This technique goes beyond critical thinking and employs entrepreneurial thinking in the education sector.
