As of March 31, 2021 the U.S. student loan debt is 1.6 trillion and the high school class of '21 can expect to borrow $38,147 to obtain a bachelor's degree (According to Nerd Wallet).
In a culture where families are working towards generational wealth, debt is a factor that must be considered. During this session we will discuss the recent call from the Committee Chair of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP), to President Joe Biden to extend the student loan payment pause to at least 2023 and cancel student loans.
