Join the West Philly Corridor Collaborative for their B Smart Pitch and Present Program. Select participants from a successful 10 week workshop program, B Smart, will pitch their businesses for feedback and the chance of receiving an on-the-spot loan commitment of $10,000.00 from the West Philadelphia Financial Services Institution and other funders. B Smart is a program created in 2017 to address the lack of legitimate and free business training programs for early stage companies. The program was created in partnership with the West Philadelphia Corridor Collaborative, Drexel University’s Beachell Family Learning Center and the West Philadelphia Financial Services Institution (WPFSI). To date, the program has served over 100 entrepreneurs. At the end of each cohort, businesses have the chance to pitch their business plan for feedback and on-the-spot financing from WPFSI for $10,000.00 in loan capital.
