Advanced Arduino Debugging (In-Person)

In-person session | Workshop

April 7, 2022 | 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Room: 2nd Floor Quorum - Qu6
ABOUT THE SESSION

Join Microchip and our Wizard of Make, Bob Martin, for a free, informative hands-on workshop covering advanced debugging techniques for Arduino sketches. You will also get to take the development board home after the workshop to continue developing.

Have you ever wanted to move your Arduino® Sketches into a professional development environment with full debug capabilities? This session will introduce you to the Arduino Sketch import capability in MPLAB® X, which allows for full-source code debugging. You will receive the ATmega328P Xplained Mini evaluation kit which provides everything needed to implement source-level debugging of Arduino projects. You’ll also get to take the hardware home after the workshop to use for your next design!

The provided Xplained Mini contains the same microcontroller and pin out of the Arduino UNO. However, you also get an on-board debugger as well as full access to all general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins.

 Provided Materials:

AVR® Xplained Mini with ATmega328P microcontroller OR AVR128DB48 Curiosity Nano
