SME Connections

Join us for SME Connections in our virtual networking space, Remo, to connect with Subject Matter Experts in a wide variety of fields! You can learn more about our virtual networking space here. Please note that the event will be taking place on the second floor of the Remo space. SMEs will be able to connect with one another as well as provide guidance and feedback during intimate discussions with attendees.

Rob Burger – Rob is an experienced entrepreneur, IT consultant and licensed commercial insurance broker. As an entrepreneur and software developer he has designed, developed, built and sold web and mobile app technologies. Most recently Rob has joined Arachas Group as an independent commercial insurance broker. He partners with business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs as a key advisor to create better financial and lifestyle outcomes.

Brandyn Campbell – Brandyn Campbell, owner and founder of Brandyn Campbell Communications, combines her passions for communications and diversity to help businesses build and articulate their commitment to racial justice. She has worked with clients including the Philadelphia Eagles and NFL, and her writing has been featured in outlets such as BusinessweekPhiladelphia Magazine, and Thrive Global. Drawing on her 15 years of experience managing diversity issues in international education and facilitating Diversity & Inclusion trainings for educational leaders, Brandyn’s Antiracism Communications Services are a perfect synthesis of her expertise.

Lyndsey Getty – Lyndsey is the Managing Director of SME Contracts. She has over 10 years of experience supporting organizations of all sizes with their Contracts & Procurement management and strategy. She has worked on projects ranging from Deal Desk and strategy creation for 1.6BN Fortune 500 Enterprises to Contract Strategy, Process and Department Creation for 40MM mid-size companies and start-ups. Ayanna Haskins – Ayanna Haskins specializes in managing information security with more than 20 years of assessing current security measures and mitigating future attacks against an organization’s devices, network, and data. She began her professional career as a consultant at SAP and Deloitte leading global ERP implementations and the required infrastructure and governance. She then transitioned to information security – specializing in managing the various strategic and tactical requirements of organizational security.

Garry Johnson III – Garry Johnson III, an award-winning entrepreneur himself, dedicates his time to helping entrepreneurs put their ideas into action and refine their messaging to deliver a winning pitch! Garry founded the First Founder’s Accelerator, Delaware’s first startup bootcamp designed to train early-stage, underrepresented entrepreneurs, to develop scalable businesses. Garry is now also a part of the Venture Cafe team as Program Manager and Experience Designer!

John Landers – John Landers has been tinkering with (and inadvertently breaking) technology as a hobby since the early 90s and professionally since 2002. His areas of interest include troubleshooting, urbex/infiltration, knowledge management, digital autonomy, and countersurveillance. His first PC was a Tandy1000 and his first mobile phone was a Nokia 5110. John is currently an IT Specialist at University City Science Center.

Lynette Moore – Event planning and hosting is 90% problem solving and with the change of circumstances since March, I have been creating programs for the virtual community as well as assisting clients as they move their meetings to a virtual format.  The future of in-person meetings and events is moving to hybrid structure, we are seeing more meetings with a few people in-person and some attending virtually.

Zave Smith – Exuberant and poignant, philosophical and passionate, Zave Smith’s photographs capture the tangible pleasures and tactile experiences of life in close-up.  Raised and trained in the Midwest, now working out of Philadelphia and New York, Zave has a special feeling for personality that suffuses his work.
