Adjust and Restore

Two weeks ago, I saw a post from one of my friends on social media asking people to share any good habits they adopted during the pandemic that they’ll continue as we Restore to normal? A lot of folks had answers that circled around nature—walking more, walking meetings, hiking, etc. For us at Venture Café we’ve found real value in hosting our sessions on-line and while we absolutely love in-person sessions with last week’s first hybrid event being a highlight, we will continue with virtual as long as the need exists. Don’t forget we have a huge repository of amazing content on our YouTube channel.

As we Restore to gatherings in-person we are going to continue to tweak the format from week-to-week to insure we get the best community experience. For instance, this week we are going to hold our networking and sessions on the second floor of 3675 Market Street, making it easier to transition in and out of sessions. Since city guidelines have changed, no Eventbrite registration is required. If there is something that you’d like to see or want us to tweak, please make sure to let the team know.

Based on my friend’s feedback on social I adjusted my behavior last week and did a walking meeting and intend to do more even when we are back in the office regularly. I’m curious, what habit are you going to keep as we Restore to a post-pandemic way of life?
